Retail Therapy: Anteak Booteek

It’s rare to find a person who has an eye for vintage spanning any era, material or style. Owner of Anteak Booteek Diane Allison is one of the gems who knows vintage clothing, shoes, accessories and decor like the back of her hand.

Located on 38th Avenue in Wheat Ridge, enter Anteak Booteek and you’re met with a sense of whimsical nostalgia that cannot be replicated elsewhere. From delicately beaded gowns to vintage denim to unique leather jackets and everything in between, there are treasures galore to be found in Anteak Booteek.

With her dog Frank sitting in his “throne” welcoming customers at the front of the store, Allison has created an environment that is welcoming, friendly and explorative. It’s nearly impossible to leave without buying something, with pieces that transcend styles and eras. Many of the offerings in the shop are upcycled by Allison, as a true vintage expert and purveyor.

Even the dressing room has its own charm, just like every nook and cranny in Anteak Booteek, where discovering an iconic accessory or item is only the beginning.

The Curio Cabinet Retail Therapy tour is a series exploring clothing collections and latest drops from boutiques and stores in Denver and beyond. We believe in the power of in-person shopping and supporting our communities. As a result, we’re discovering the spaces that make our city unique while helping others find their personal style and dream purchase to add to their collection.

Follow along as we explore closets and boutiques, and if you have a wardrobe meant to be seen or know of someone who does, let us know at hello@thecuriocabinetmagazine.com.
