Osia Encourages the Art of Intentional Drinking

In a city where creatives are pushing boundaries, Denver-based beverage brand Osia is joining the growing world of mood drinks. Founder Isabella Hoag launched Osia less than a year ago with no prior experience in the beverage industry, yet with a clear purpose. She yearned for a beverage that tasted complex and made her feel something naturally. That desire eventually became a full line of non-alcoholic mood beverages built around a simple idea: drinking should be intentional.

For Hoag, the inspiration began with a personal shift. She had redefined her relationship with substances and noticed that many around her quietly struggled with alcohol. She wanted another option, something to reach for without regret and without compromising flavor or experience.

“I am naturally sensitive to substances, so whatever I created had to be gentle enough for me to feel balanced yet effective enough for those who are not as sensitive to feel it too,” she said. After experimenting with countless herbs and combinations, she landed on the formulas that define Osia today.

Those formulas focus on adaptogens, nootropics and botanical ingredients that have been used for centuries.

The connection is personal. Isabella grew up watching family and friends turn to herbs for everything from healing to daily support. At the same time, she saw how alcohol often had the opposite effect.

“I made the connection that there are herbs that could bridge that way to connection and feeling without the negative effects of alcohol,” she said. Her goal is not only to offer alternatives, but to encourage a healthier and more mindful way of consuming in a culture that makes autopilot drinking the norm.

Osia’s approach starts with experience. Instead of choosing a drink because a flavor sounds appealing, the brand invites you to start with how you want to feel. Every can is anchored in one of four moods: Passion, Boost, Bliss and Ease. Passion leans into sensuality. Boost offers clean energy without caffeine. Bliss provides an elevated and euphoric lift. Ease softens the edges after a long day. Through real fruits and herbs, each one tastes distinct with its own personality. Hoag calls the blends “a form of art,” shaped by her background in creative cooking and intuition for pairing flavors that complement each other without overpowering the palate.

That sensory and emotional connection is the heart of the brand’s philosophy of intentional drinking. Instead of reaching for a second or third drink out of habit, Osia encourages you to pause and choose. “The feeling you want is there laid out clearly and simply,” Isabella said. “You think about how you want to feel even for a second, and you enjoy your night without the regret and hangover the next day.”

The idea grew from her own frustration with the options available. She loved complex drinks and wanted a little buzz without alcohol, yet found herself in bars where the only non-alcoholic option was cranberry juice. Osia now offers that alternative through mood drinks that are light but buildable and meant to meet you where you are.

Although the brand is fresh and currently focused on the Denver area, it is growing steadily. Osia sells larger quantities online and is preparing for expanded retail launches with dates to be announced. From a 4-pack for $17.99 to a 32-pack for $135.99 and everything in between, Osia is ready to serve any individual, group, party or occasion.

Long term, Hoag envisions Osia as both a product and a movement. She hopes to create a community of individuals who love the way the beverages make them feel and who embrace a lifestyle defined by intention rather than default choices. At its core, the mission is to support people who are sober or sober curious and help them discover a healthier path.

For first time drinkers, Hoag hopes the feeling they choose lingers long after the can is empty. She strives for consumers to sense the intention behind the brand, and to step into Osia’s world; where feeling good is consciously crafted and completely your choice.

Love this! I am always looking for n/a options and they are all too often limited to sugary drinks, with little intention.

Well done! I look forward to trying some!
