Color of Fashion and Social Club Are Throwing a Party: Bites, Cocktails, Fashion and Connection

Connecting with like-minded women isn’t easy when relocating. After moving to Denver a year ago and yearning to make connections and female friendships in her new city, Daria Olanski decided to take matters into her own hands. She founded Social Club, which started as a brunch and has grown to a community of thousands.

“As a chef, I thought it would be a beautiful opportunity to create a space where women could connect over fresh, seasonal food, intentional experiences and meaningful conversation,” said Olanski.

Color of Fashion founders Alicia Myers and Samantha Joseph attended a Social Club cocktail party and got to talking with Olanski. As two women-owned organizations in Denver supporting the women in their community, a partnership was inevitable and ideas quickly became a reality.

“One of Social Club’s core values is supporting women-owned businesses and female entrepreneurs,” said Olanski. “I’ve always admired [Color of Fashion’s] bold, thoughtful mission. When the idea of collaborating came up, it just made sense. We’re both creating experiences rooted in connection, culture and creativity, so it felt like a natural fit.”

Denverites no longer have to gawk at NYC cocktail parties that we wish were taking place in our own city. Social Club is bringing that elevated cocktail experience to kick off Color of Fashion Season V: Be Scene. With bites and cocktails aligned with Color of Fashion’s standard of luxury, “we’re creating a space that feels stylish, warm and deeply intentional, the most glamorous warm-up for the main fashion show,” shared Olanski.

Collaboration is at the core of the creative community in Denver, and both Color of Fashion and Social Club are leaning in.

“This collaboration blends fashion, food and community in a way that feels fresh and unique,” said Olanski.

While supporting women is at the core of Social Club’s mission, this opportunity will be the brand’s second coed event. Olanski is constantly asked for experiences that include partners or men, and feels that intentionality and creating a space for connection does not only exist for a certain gender.

“I’m excited to explore this direction more, and honestly, I love stepping into new territory,” she expressed.

Social Club is becoming known for its monthly events. From garden parties to brunches to wellness events and everything in between, most attendees show up solo and leave with friendships and experiences to cherish.

While Social Club is currently serving Denver, Olanski plans to expand to more cities. She’s currently working on an upcoming “fall retreat that combines all the things we love: nourishing food, reflection, and community,” she shared.
